The New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants announced recently it is accepting nominations for its new Oviation Awards.
The program will recognize individuals who have made a substantial impact in accounting, the NJCPA said.
The awards will have seven categories: Emerging Leaders; Diversity, Equity & Inclusion; Innovation; Exceptional Educators; Women to Watch; Impact; and Lifetime Leader.
“The Ovation Awards are a wonderful way to praise outstanding professionals who have made a significant impact on the accounting profession. Many give so much to the community on a daily basis; it’s great to recognize all that they do,” Ralph Albert Thomas, CEO and executive director at NJCPA.
Award recipients will be recognized at the NJCPA’s Annual Convention & Expo in Atlantic City on June 12 and will be honored in a special section of the New Jersey CPA magazine.
