CLJ Holdings acquires LDA, maker of leak detection systems

CLJ Holdings LLC, an Egg Harbor Township-based financial firm, announced it has acquired Leak Detection Associates, a manufacturer of helium-based leak detection systems for the pharmaceutical, medical device and food industries.

Under the deal, Jeff Morrow-Lucas, lead engineer and chief operations officer at LDA, will join the executive management team as director of engineering services of the new LDA.

“We see LDA as an exciting opportunity; a platform company that enables us to build out an extensive operation serving the target markets within pharma, biotech and the packaged food industries,” Deborah Kronyak, managing director of CLJ Holdings, said. “We will immediately make a substantial capital investment to LDA that will drastically improve our product and service platforms and expand our sales and operational program globally.”

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
