Vehicle dealer buys Old Bridge warehouse

An Old Bridge warehouse has been sold to a vehicle dealer and transporter, according to real estate firm Sheldon Gross Realty.

The 30,000-square-foot property at 395 Route 34 was sold by Sayreville-based OEG Building Materials to Newark-based V&S Brothers Inc. The deal was managed by West Orange-based Sheldon Gross’ team of Glenn Jaffe, senior vice president; Matthew Leonelli Jr., sales representative; and Jonathan Glick, executive vice president.

“We’ve enjoyed a longstanding professional relationship with OEG Building Materials,” Jaffe said in a prepared statement. “The Sheldon Gross Realty team also was instrumental in helping OEG relocate from this Route 34 location to its new, 23-acre site just a few miles away. I’d say our history with this type of deal, where we represent longstanding clients on multiple occasions, testifies to the quality of our service.”

The building had been used to production of steel building materials; it will now be utilized by V&S Brothers to transition auction and dealer purchases for shipment overseas.

“This is absolutely an ideal site for V&S,” Jaffe said. “I’m confident the location will enable its business to continue expanding.”

Financial terms were not disclosed.
