Retired Air Force Brig. Gen. Harris Jay Klein is the featured speaker at a Veterans Procurement Resource Expo to be held Tuesday at Ramapo College of New Jersey, organized by the New Jersey Small Business Development Center serving Bergen County.
Kline, who last served as the mobilization assistant to the staff judge advocate, HQ AFMC, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, has served in the military around the world and is now a consultant and business speaker.
The expo is a networking and educational event focused on veteran-owned businesses and including exhibitors from the government, contracting and banking segments, among others.
“(Attendees) will also learn the ropes of government contracting, meet and network with resources that can take your business to a higher level,” Vincent Vicari, regional director of the center, said in a prepared statement.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and admission is free.
