Strategic Data Marketing, dental industry peer merge

Rutherford-based Strategic Data Marketing, a provider of research services for the dental industry, announced this week it has merged business operations with Northcoast Data Analytics, another company in the sector.

The new company, called SDM Northcoast LLC, will be based in Rutherford, with Northcoast founder and CEO Ed Snyder serving as CEO of the new company. Paul Seid, SDM’s president, will serve on the board of directors along with Snyder.

“I could not be more excited about our merger with Northcoast Data Analytics,” Seid said in a prepared statement. “Ed Snyder’s distinctive background and vast working knowledge as a seasoned dental market research analyst, combined with his established business relationships in the dental industry, will be a tremendous asset to our customers.”

The deal has been finalized, but financial terms were not disclosed.
