Former Campbell Soup Co. CEO Denise Morrison, who left that post in May, has been elected to the board of directors at Quest Diagnostics, the Secaucus-based diagnostic testing firm said this week.
Morrison, who was Campbell’s CEO and president from 2011 to 2018, is also a director of Visa Inc. and MetLife Inc. and a trustee of Boston College. She was a director at Campbell’s from 2010 to 2018 and at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. from 2005 to 2010.
“In addition to her broad management experiences, Denise has a deep understanding of the consumer market and will bring a helpful new perspective as Quest pursues its strategy to be the most consumer-oriented diagnostic information services provider,” Steve Rusckowski, Quest’s chairman, CEO and president, said in a prepared statement.
