Campbell Soup to sell Campbell Fresh plant to Joshua Green affiliate

Camden-based Campbell Soup Co. announced Thursday it has agreed to sell its Everett, Washington-based refrigerated soup plant to an affiliate of Seattle-based investment company Joshua Green Corp.

The 225,000-square-foot facility is part of the Campbell Fresh division, which includes the Bolthouse Farms and Garden Fresh Gourmet.

Campbell said it is currently in the process of divesting its Campbell Fresh and Campbell International businesses.

The deal is expected to close in the third quarter of 2019. Financial terms were not disclosed.
