Imperial Dade has agreed to take over the Edison branch of Joshen Paper & Packaging, eventually making it part of the Jersey City-based distributor of food service and janitorial supplies’ New Jersey operations, it announced Tuesday.
Imperial Dade, which has locations in Jersey City and Bordentown, has signed an agreement to manage, oversee and operate the Ohio company’s Edison site for three months before ultimately integrating it into its own operations.
“We are committed to a smooth transitionary period and look forward to providing excellent service to the customers of Joshen’s New Jersey branch and further growing our business in the tri-state area,” Imperial Dade CEO Robert Tillis said in a prepared statement.
Joshen also distributes product for janitorial, sanitation and other products.
“We are excited about Joshen’s New Jersey branch’s future under the leadership of Imperial Dade,” Joshen CEO Bob Reiner said in a statement. “Our customers can expect the same great service and responsiveness with access to a broader product offering going forward.”
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
