Commvault, the data management software company based in Tinton Falls, is bolstering its work overseas with a new market-focused support center in Bangalore, India, it announced recently.
The center will join other Commvault efforts at the location, including a regional support desk and development engineering team, and follows on a move to a bigger office in Hyderabad, the company said in a news release.
“It is fantastic for me to be in India to celebrate this investment in our customer support,” the company’s new CEO, Sanjay Mirchandani, said in a prepared statement. “India is a key growth market for us in (the Asia Pacific region) and globally, and the market-focused support center will help our local stakeholders solve the hard problems they’re facing today.
“We are committed to providing this market with the best people, processes and technologies to optimize operations, meet stringent service levels and realize the full value of their data — regardless of time and location.”
The new site will be Commvault’s fourth local market support center in the APAC region, including one in Japan and two in China. Its main support facilities are located in Tinton Falls, the U.K. and Australia.
