Untied Brewing is opening a production site and tasting room in New Providence under a lease negotiated by NAI James E. Hanson, the real estate firm announced Wednesday.
The microbrewery has leased 7,791 square feet of industrial space at 140 Spring St., Unit C, NAI Hanson said in a news release. The firm’s Barry Cohorsky represented the landlorder, Davanne Realty Co. & 19-25 Columbia Street Corp., in the exclusive transaction.
The space in the 66,000-square-foot industrial property will include a full-production brewery as well as a tasting room.
“The explosive growth of microbreweries has placed additional demand on the flex/industrial pipeline across the state,” Cohorsky said in a prepared statement. “These breweries are often in the market for well-located, modern and flexible spaces with needs similar to those of more traditional industrial users, which has allowed landlords to market these spaces to an even wider audience and attract a premium price in the market.”
