On Thursday, Walmart associates based in New Jersey received a share of $2.4 million in cash bonuses, the company announced.
The share comes from a $207 million bonus pool, which was spread out among 912,000 Walmart associates throughout the United States. The bonuses were delivered due to having a 4.2 percent growth in sales in the fourth quarter, the company said.
Associates will receive the bonus in their March 7 paychecks, Walmart said.
“Walmart continues identifying new ways to invest in our associates, who truly represent the foundation of our company’s success,” Glen Spencer, Walmart’s regional general manager in New Jersey, said. “Our people make all the difference for us, and we appreciate and value their hard work and dedication.”
