HFF announces $11.47M sale of medical office building

Holliday Fenoglio Fowler L.P. announced Thursday it has closed on the $11.47 million sale of a outpatient imaging facility in Garden City, New York.

The 16,920-square-foot property is triple net master leased to the New York University School of Medicine.

HFF’s Jose Cruz, Kevin O’Hearn and Andrew Scandalios, senior managing directors; along with Ben Appel, Michael Oliver and Steve Simonelli, senior directors; marketed the property on behalf of the seller, Meridian Imaging Group.  Inland Real Estate Acquisitions LLC facilitated the purchase.

“The activity on this asset was driven by the Garden City location, the credit of the tenant and the length of the lease,” Cruz said.  “There were a significant number of buyers for this property from across the country.”

The property is situated on .13 acres at 224 Seventh St. in the Downtown Garden City submarket of Long Island. It is with close access to the Garden City Train Station, Route 24 and Interstate 495.
