Princeton-based Belser, a revenue recovery and hospital reimbursement solutions provider, announced Thursday it has acquired Essential Consulting LLC.
The new company will bring together two hospital reimbursement services organizations and will add to Belser’s software portfolio.
“By combining two companies with broad reimbursement experience and complementary, but not overlapping technology-enabled services, hospitals will now have access to an expanded platform of reimbursement software tools and a larger, integrated team of service professionals to ensure that their reimbursement is protected,” Jonathan Besler, CEO and president of Belser, said.
Under the deal, Essential Consulting co-founder Jeff Wolf will lead Belser’s reimbursement service organization and co-founder Rick Sutton will continue to support existing software products for the combined asset. Other members of the Essential Consulting team will also join Belser.
