Insmed Inc., a biopharmaceutical company based in Bridgewater, announced Thursday that Chief Financial Officer Paolo Tombesi will be leaving the company, effective June 2.
The company also said John Goll has been named chief accounting officer, effective immediately.
The company said a search is currently underway for its next CFO.
“On behalf of the company and the board, we want to thank Paolo for his many contributions to Insmed over the past two years,” Will Lewis, chairman and CEO of Insmed, said. “We wish Paolo continued success in his future endeavors. I also want to congratulate John on his promotion.”
Tombesi will remain available after he departs on a consulting basis, Insmed said.
