Beacon Investment Advisory Services Inc., a registered investment adviser and wholly-owned subsidiary of Morristown-based wealth management firm Beacon Trust Co., announced Monday it has acquired New York City-based investment adviser Tirschwell & Loewy Inc.
Under the deal, Beacon Trust will operate the new firm, Tirschwell Loewy & Friedner Investments, as a division of Beacon Trust.
Jeffrey Loewy and Howard Friedner will continue to manage the firm’s investment strategy.

Keefe, Bruyette & Woods served as the financial advisor and Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, LLP served as legal counsel to Beacon Trust. Park Sutton Advisors LLC served as the financial adviser and BakerHostetler served as its legal counsel to Tirschwell & Loewy.
