Initial occupancy begins at boutique condo in Jersey City

Strategic Capital, the investment arm of China Construction America, announced Monday initial occupancy at a boutique condominium on Jersey City’s Gold Coast has begun.

Shore House is a 72-unit, seven-story residence building part of the larger Park and Shore, which comprises two buildings and 429 units. The complex is the first condominium development in the area in nearly a decade, its developer said.

Park and Shore, which is nearly 70 percent sold, offers amenities including a swimming pool, wine tasting lounge, putting green, children’s play area, co-working lounge, a rooftop lounge, fitness center, and more.

“We are thrilled to welcome the first residents to Shore House,” Phillip Gesue of Strategic Capital said. “Shore House signifies a unique opportunity in Jersey City, and the development has captivated the community with its impeccable design and one-of-a-kind views.”

Shore House, situated in Jersey City’s Newport neighborhood, is within close access to the Newport PATH station.

The development was constructed by Plaza Construction, a construction management and general contracting companies and the sister-company of Strategic Capital.

Shore House is holding a model home grand opening on April 7 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Pricing starts at $775,000.
