Campbell continues its executive changes

Campbell Soup Co., which has hired a new CEO and changed chairmen already this year, is making a number of other executive moves, according to a filing this week with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The Camden-based company eliminated the position of chief operating officer, it said, with Senior Vice President and COO Luca Mignini shifting to a role as executive vice president – strategic initiatives. He will remain in that role until Aug. 1, at which point that role will also be eliminated.

In addition, Carlos Abrams-Rivera, president of Campbell Snacks, and Roberto Leopardi, president of Campbell Meals and Beverages, each added a senior vice president title. Both are now considered part of the leadership team, reporting to CEO Mark Clouse.
