Chemetall, a brand under New Providence-based BASF, announced it has closed on the acquisition of the automotive paint detackification business of Polymer Ventures Inc., including its shares of Galaxy Chemical Corp.
Polymer’s paint detackification technology, which complements Chemetall’s surface treatment products, captures and neutralizes paint overspray, it said.
Financial and other terms of the deal were not disclosed.
