T&M Associates, a Middletown-based construction engineering company, announced Wednesday it has named Violet Koehler its new chief financial officer.
Koehler will report to CEO and President Gary Dahms and will be responsible for overall leadership and management of the company’s finance and IT departments.
T&M said Koehler is the first woman to fill this role at the firm.
“The role of CFO has been evolving over the past couple of decades. Violet’s strong background in leadership, financial management, business planning, staff development and system technology implementations define the modern CFO we were looking for,” Dahms said. “She is also a great addition to T&M’s management team, expanding the diversity of the team and partnering with our leadership to drive the firms’ goal of sustainable, profitable growth.”
Koehler has more than 20 years of experience in accounting, finance, administration and management, T&M said. She earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Montclair State University and is a licensed State of New Jersey Certified Public Accountant and certified Charted Global Management Accountant.
