The Hearing Center, a New Jersey-based independent audiology practice, has opened its fourth — and largest — location, in Somerset, it announced Wednesday.
The Somerset facility, at 15 Clyde Road, Suite 101, joins sites in Highland Park, Manalapan and a newly-renovated location in Clark, the company said in a news release.
“Patients don’t necessarily want to go to a hospital-based setting for routine and follow-up care,” Eric Sandler, director of audiological services at The Hearing Center, said in a prepared statement. “We felt that the Somerset area is underserved.”
The new facility offers a full suite of audiology services for children and adults, as well as education seminars and a specially designed interior.
“It feels more like a living room than a doctor’s office,” Sandler said. “Since this office is our largest space, it provided the opportunity to arrange the space more like a living room than a sterile doctor’s office.”
