Workspend, a Jersey City-based managed service provider, said it has hired a veteran Fortune 500 executive as senior vice president of operations and strategy.
The company said in a news release that, in her new role, Candice Bedolla Hammer will help drive the growth of the firm’s service offerings, helping customers design workforce strategies to get the most from workforce systems and programs.
“We are excited about Candice joining the Workspend leadership team,” President Dan Rothberg said in a prepared statement. “Candice’s experience and track record as an operational and market strategy leader in the contingent workforce space makes her well-suited to help us grow our global MSP business.”
Hammer has more than 16 years of experience in business strategy, talent acquisition, vendor management and workforce services, Workspend said.
“For me, it’s essential to ally with a company and people whose practices, priorities and products I can believe in,” she said in a statement. “That’s why I’m so excited to join Workspend. It not only has the skill, talent and technology to make meaningful and measurable differences in the industry, it actually does just that every day.”
