Prism Capital Partners announced it has retained the Chicago-based architectural firm Goettsch Partners to design a new office complex at ON3, its development on the border of Clifton and Nutley.
The two Class A towers would add about 400,000 square feet of office space to the 116-acre campus’ Clifton side, Prism’s Eugene Diaz, principal partner, said in a news release.
“This project could mark the first new trophy-grade, multitenant construction that the northern New Jersey office market has seen in quite some time, and it is a true indicator of what’s to come,” Diaz said in a prepared statement. “We are thrilled to retain Goettsch Partners — a firm known for creating innovative, headquarters-quality structures of the finest class — as architect.”
ON3 already has office inventory on the Nutley portion of the campus, including 100 Metro Blvd., which has a full-building commitment from Ralph Lauren Corp., and 200 Metro Blvd.
“For many years, office projects in New Jersey have centered on the repositioning of aging suburban campuses,” Diaz said. “Our planned ground-up development at ON3 is the direct result of unprecedented interest and space inquiries from corporate tenants.”
The former Hoffmann-La Roche campus also is, or will be, home to Quest Diagnostics, Modern Meadow, the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine at Seton Hall University and more. Prism expects the campus will have more than 5,500 people on-site by 2021.
