4 N.J. companies rank on DiversityInc’s Top 50 for Diversity list

Four New Jersey-based companies were ranked among DiversityInc‘s Top 50 Companies for Diversity list.

The Princeton-based media company said it honored the Top 50 earlier this week in New York, which featured a fireside chat on advancing women to the C-Suite.

The list recognizes top companies for diversity and inclusion management, pinpointing those which have business strategies based on attracting, developing and retaining talent from all backgrounds and leveraging the power of different perspectives to drive business.

Here are the four New Jersey companies with their world headquarters in New Jersey that made the Top 50:

3. ADP, Roseland (moved up in rank by two spots from last year);
12. BASF, Florham Park (up five spots);
34. TD Bank, Cherry Hill (up 15 spots);
42. Sanofi, Bridgewater (up 11 spots);

Whippany-based Bayer U.S. and Secaucus-based Quest Diagnostics were among DiversityInc’s “noteworthy companies”, which the publication said have the potential to become a Top 50.

Other companies in the Top 50 that have a major presence in New Jersey include:

6. Comcast
7. Accenture
9. KPMG
13. Wells Fargo
14. Target
19. TD Bank
34. Walmart

“DiversityInc Top 50 Companies have a decisive advantage because they treat people more fairly than other companies,” said Luke Visconti, founder and CEO of DiversityInc.

“People are far better off working for them because there is more opportunity at better run companies. Top 50 companies also deliver a greater-than-average return for shareholders.”
