Walters completes senior community in Manahawkin

Walters, a Barnegat-based developer, announced Thursday it has completed Cornerstone At Stafford, an age- and income-restricted apartment community in Manahawkin.

The development at 120 Campbell Blvd. will add 100 energy-efficient units to Ocean County’s housing stock, the developer said.

The three-story building, part of the larger Stafford Park development, consists of one- and two-bedroom residences with prices ranging from $874 to $994 for a one bedroom and $1,084 to $1,250 for a two bedroom. Each unit has upgraded kitchens with granite countertops, washer and dryers, emergency alarm system, 24/7 on-site management and maintenance, and more.

“This is a beautiful new building which truly serves the community,” Joe Del Duca, partner and director of affordable housing for Walters, said. “It provides a viable housing option for seniors who would like to stay in the area, but might be having trouble finding a place that meets their needs.”

The property is within close access to Route 72 and Exit 63 off the Garden State Parkway.

Cornerstone At Stafford will also feature gathering areas for social events, computer use and exercising.
