Cantel Medical Corp. announced Monday it has named Peter Clifford its new executive vice president and chief operating officer.
As part of this change in leadership, the Little Falls-based health care products firm said it also has appointed Shaun Blakeman to senior vice president and chief financial officer.
Clifford will be responsible for overseeing Cantel’s business operations. Most recently, he served as executive vice president and chief financial officer for the company. Prior to joining Cantel, he had more than 20 years’ experience in the manufacturing and industrial industry, serving as vice president of operations, finance and information technology at IDEX Corp. He also held various senior roles at General Electric.
“During Peter’s four years of service at Cantel, he has made significant contributions to build the finance organization and has proven his expertise in operational discipline across the Company,” George Fotiades, CEO and president, Cantel, said. “I am confident that Peter’s experience throughout the growth of the company and tenacity have set him apart as a true visionary leader that will help us reach new levels of success at Cantel. Blakeman will be responsible for all financial reporting, planning and analysis, auditing, treasury, strategic planning and management, and investor relations. Most recently, Blakeman was senior finance director at Medtronic. Before working at Cantel, he held leadership roles at IDEX Corp.
