Micronet gets 1.3M in orders for its next-gen hardware platform

Montvale-based MICT Inc. announced Thursday that Micronet Ltd. has received two purchase orders for the supply and delivery of its 4th generation SmartHub hardware platform.

The order, which was placed by an undisclosed telematics service provider, totaled $1.3 million, MICT said.

The platform is a rugged Android-based fix-mount on board computer that installs in the driver’s cabin to monitor and manage vehicle fleets.

“New orders from current customers are the best testament of Micronet’s valuable solutions in the Mobile Resource Management market. Micronet’s latest technologies, including its next-generation SmartHub, are finding traction with customers that are leaders in the industry. We are also pleased to see Micronet’s customers signing on for its annual SaaS based services, which generate annual recurring revenue for Micronet,” MICT CEO David Lucatz said.

Financial terms were not disclosed.
