Boiling Springs Savings Bank names Petrie as SVP, chief credit officer

Boiling Spring Savings Bank, a Rutherford-based savings bank and provider of financial services, announced recently it has appointed James C. Petrie to senior vice president and chief credit officer.

In this role, Petrie will be responsible for overseeing the bank’s credit policy development, credit underwriting, loan review and asset recovery functions. He will also collaborate with senior management to create a strong credit culture across the organization.

Prior to Boiling Springs, Petrie was at Columbia Bank for 18 years, serving in roles such as commercial and industrial lending officer III, senior vice president of retail lending, special asset manager and commercial credit manager.
