Boiling Springs Savings Bank has hired a new chief financial officer, the Rutherford-based financial institution announced Monday.
Daniel Chen, who has served in executive and other roles with Cross River Bank, Morgan Stanley, MetLife Investment Management and more, has joined Boiling Springs as executive vice president and CFO.
“Mr. Chen’s comprehensive financial institution experience makes him a welcome addition to the team,” CEO and President James D. Nesci said in a prepared statement. “His leadership roles at distinguished organizations, and his outstanding knowledge of the banking industry, will be essential in executing the responsibilities of his new position.”
In his new role, he will lead capital and financial strategy for the bank, as well as manage its accounting, finance, planning and analysis functions, and more.
