New CEO announced at Chatham-based MixComm

MixComm said it has appointed Mike Noonen as its new CEO.

“I am thrilled to join the MixComm team. MixComm brings together groundbreaking architecture, advanced design and experienced management to fulfill the promise and potential of millimeter-Wave for 5G applications”, Noonen said.

Noonen most recently served as senior vice president, global sales, marketing and business development at Rambus. He’s also held executive positions at Silego Technology, Ambiq Micro, GlobalFoundries, NXP, National Semiconductor and Cisco Systems. He also served as chairman and co-founder of Silicon Catalyst, a semiconductor incubator based in Silicon Valley. He began his career as an application engineer teaching mixed-signal IC design.
