Prager Metis’ Roth named managing partner for the Northeast region

Prager Metis CPAs, an accounting and advisory firm based in New York City, announced Monday it has named Lori A. Roth to managing partner for the Northeast region, effective June 5.

The firm said it has combined the New York and the Mid-Atlantic regions to form the new Northeast region, which includes New Jersey.

In this new role, Roth will provide leadership and guidance to partners and team members. Prior to the appointment, Roth was managing partner of Prager Metis’ Mid-Atlantic region, which also included New Jersey.

Previously, Roth was the founding member of Metis Group LLC in 2002, which merged with Prager and Fenton LLP in 2013 to form Prager Metis.

Roth, who specializes in audit and account services, litigation support and business valuations, has been working in the accounting industry since 1984. She is a member of  the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants. She is also involved with the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce and the New Jersey Business and Industry Association.
