RD Foods Americas, a food manufacturer based in Ramsey, has signed a lease at an industrial building in Fair Lawn, according to real estate services firm NAI James E. Hanson.
The company is taking 101,811 square feet of the 151,700-square-foot building at 19-05 Nevins Road, according to NAI Hanson. That represents RD Foods’ third warehouse in New Jersey — from which it will distribute international, fresh food ranging from seafood to fruit — and ninth nationwide.
NAI Hanson’s Eric Demmers and Russ Verducci represented the tenant in the transaction.
“The area around 19-05 Nevins is one of the most sought-after locations for manufacturers who are searching for both superior access to New York City as well as the important transportation arteries running through Bergen County,” Demmers said in a prepared statement. “We were happy to work with RD Foods Americas to help them secure a warehouse in one of the most in-demand markets in the region that will allow them to continue to grow their business.”
RD Foods Americas, founded in 1999, is part of the RD Group of Companies.
