Boiling Springs Savings Bank, based in Rutherford, has changed its name, it announced this week.
As of Monday, the bank and financial services provider will be called Blue Foundry Bank, it said in a news release. The new name reflects a reinvention and acknowledges today’s community members — makers, movers and shakers — it added.
“Blue Foundry Bank is set to revolutionize banking,” CEO and President James D. Nesci said in a prepared statement. “Our bank has always served as more than just a means of providing financial services, and our new name reflects the grit and passion we put into making people, businesses and neighborhoods stronger. Where others may see obstacles, we see opportunities.”
Blue Foundry has 17 branches in four New Jersey counties.
