Diversified Properties LLC, a Montville-based real estate development firm, has broken ground on 480 Flatz, a 34-unit luxury apartment building in East Rutherford.
The transit-oriented property, located at 480 Paterson Ave., is comprised of four-stories and encompasses a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, including five affordable housing units.
The property sits within close access to Route 17 and NJ Transit train stations in Rutherford and Wood-Ridge, according to Nicholas Minoia, principal at Diversified Properties.
Initial occupancy is scheduled for spring 2020.
“Demand for well-located, luxury rental product in this Bergen County market remains strong and we’re thrilled to launch 480 Flatz,” Minoia said. “This community will cater to residents in search of commuting convenience and a true maintenance-free lifestyle.”
Thomas J. Brennan Architects will be designing 480 Flatz, Diversified Properties said. It will feature home plans ranging in size from 700 to 1,100 square feet.
