PrimeTime Center moves to new space in Eatontown

PrimeTime Center, a day program with independent living and community experiences for adults with developmental disabilities, announced Tuesday it has moved to a new location in Eatontown.

The new center, which will have an open house in late September, is comprised of 7,000 square feet and is located at 51 James Way.

Dave Mock, director of PTC, said the former location at 240 Broad St. in Eatontown was not large enough to accommodate all 65 participants and 15 staff members.

The new facility includes a kitchen, multiple activity rooms with smartboard technology, and a large common area for eating and socializing. PTC said it plans to offer pre-vocational services to clients once the center opens.

“Learning important job skills will lead participants to greater independence and involvement in their community,” Mock said.

PTC, which was founded in 2012, has two other locations, 60 High St. in Carteret and 485 Brick Blvd. in Brick.
