World Insurance Associates LLC, a Tinton Falls-based insurance agency, announced Tuesday it has expanded its presence in Florida with the acquisition of West Coast Insurance Group and Combs Insurance.
WCIG, based in Saint Petersburg, Florida, will bring 15 employees to World Insurance’s organization. Combs Insurance, located in Vero Beach, Florida, provides insurance products to Indian River County and the surrounding area.
“Expanding our presence from Plantation, Florida to include Vero Beach and Saint Petersburg will greatly impact our ability to serve our current clients with Florida properties and businesses,” Rich Eknoian, CEO and co-founder of World Insurance, said. “We warmly welcome Greg Leifer and his team and Combs Insurance to our organization.”
Under terms of the deal, Gregory D. Leifer of WCIG will join World Insurance as a principal.
“We are excited to be a part of World’s expansion in Florida and to be able to provide additional programs and benefits to our clients as a division of World Insurance Associates,” Leifer said.
