SB One Bank moves HQ to Paramus, opens 1st Hudson location

SB One Bank is widening its reach in North Jersey, moving its headquarters from Rockaway to Paramus and expanding into Hudson County, it announced recently.

In the latest move, SB One announced the opening of a banking center at 1000 Port Imperial Ave., Weekhawken, representing its first Hudson County location. That follows the move of its corporate headquarters from Rockaway to Paramus last month.

“The health and well-being of our bank is always top of mind, and we are happy to report that we moved our corporate headquarters to Paramus,” CEO and President Anthony Labozzetta said as part of parent SB One Bancorp’s second-quarter earnings report. “The new location is central to the markets we serve, improves our operational efficiencies and reduces operating costs — so important as we continue to grow and expand throughout the region.”

The Weehawken location will include a retail team led by Frances Montagnino, vice president and business development manager, and a commercial lending team led by Douglas DaRocha, senior vice president and team leader.

“We are pleased to expand our services into the Hudson County area,” Labozzetta said in a statement. “This new banking center design affords our personal bankers the opportunity to have more meaningful and engaging conversations in its sleek and modern environment without the separation of counters and glass windows that are seen in more traditional banking layouts.”
