Weight-loss franchisee signs lease in Cherry Hill

A weight-loss franchisee has signed a long-term lease in Cherry Hill, according to real estate firm Vantage Real Estate Services.

The Marlton-based real estate firm said in a news release that Medi-Weightloss took space at South Jersey Medical Center, a 33,416-square-foot multitenant office building at 1401 Route 70 E.

Ken Richardson, a Vantage adviser, worked with the owners of Medi-Weightloss on the lease. His colleague, Aran P. Ploshansky, negotiated the deal on behalf of the landlord, Pen Del Real Estate.

“We worked with Ken Richardson to find a space for a new Medi-Weightloss franchise startup,” owner Andrew Caravello said in a prepared statement. “Very smooth process, and Ken found us the exact place we were looking for.”

Pen Del recently acquired the medical center, and plans major renovations and improvements, Vantage said. Medi-Weightloss represents the first new tenant at the center in more than four years.

Vantage serves as the exclusive listing broker for the new ownership at the center.
