A fashion resale website has leased industrial space in Moonachie, according to real estate services firm CBRE, which arranged the transaction.
Fashionphile, which is based in California, will use the space for its Northeast operations, CBRE said in a news release. The online site where consumers can buy and sell used luxury handbags, accessories and jewelry took 105,118 square feet at the property, which is undergoing a redevelopment by owner EverWest Real Estate Investors.
The team of Larry Schiffenhaus, Thomas Monahan, Stephen D’Amato, Anastasia Lazarides, Gerard Monahan and Lauren Griffith represented the tenant in the deal.
“Fashionphile had very specific space requirements; key among them was securing a property that aligned with their brand, partners and customer base,” Schiffenhaus, a first vice president with CBRE, said in a prepared statement. “The new space provided our client with the ideal location to expand its operations (to) where it can more efficiently reach its customer base.”
The owner, which bought the property is 2017, has undertaken major renovations, including raising a portion of the roof and revamping the façade.
