Hollister to build boutique hotel in downtown Morristown

Hollister announced Thursday it has been retained as the construction manager by Sunstone Hotels Morristown to construct a new boutique hotel in downtown Morristown.

The Cambria Hotel & Suites project is expected to break ground in the fall.

Hollister looks forward to continue collaborating with Sunstone and their design professionals on the successful delivery of this … boutique hotel,” Ray Barker, vice president of residential construction, Hollister, said.

The seven-story, 86,000-square-foot hotel will be located at 14 and 30 Bank St., one block from the Morristown Green. It will feature 114 guestrooms; a 2,500-square-foot restaurant and lounge; a 1,500-square-foot conference space; penthouse suites with balconies; a fitness center; and ground floor retail.

The project team includes NV5, owner’s representative; JN+A, architect; Whitestone Associates, environmental engineer; Bohler Engineering, civil engineer; Cagley & Associates, structural engineer; and HVS Design, interior designer.
