Shingle & Gibb Automation announced Tuesday it has named Rick Slaugh its new president.
Slaugh joined the Moorestown-based distributor in November 2012 as chief strategy officer and in mid-2018 was named chief operating officer.
Brian Lepsis, who joined the company in 2005 and has served as CEO and president since 2011, will remain as CEO as well as chairman of the board.
Slaugh will assume responsibility for all internal operations and be tasked with company-wide leadership, vision and management.
“Rick has spent decades in the automation industry and knows what it takes to successfully lead a company in this very competitive space,” Jeff Ursell, vice president of sales for Turck USA and current board member of Shingle & Gibb Automation, said. “He has a well-deserved reputation of possessing both big picture intellect as well as result-oriented attention to detail that will serve Shingle & Gibb, its customers, employees and suppliers well as they continue to grow and expand.”
