Newark health care tech company names new CEO

AGS Health, a Newark-based provider of technology-oriented health care solutions, has named a new CEO, it announced Thursday.

Patrice Wolfe, who has more than 20 years of experience leading technology-led companies in the sector, replaces founder and CEO Devendra Saharia, who is leaving the company.

“I’m extremely excited to have this opportunity to join AGS, and I very much look forward to expanding and developing an already-great organization,” Wolfe said in a prepared statement. “AGS has an impressive foundation of highly talented employees, deep customer relationships and tech-enabled solutions. I look forward to building on this and extending the company’s strength and leadership across the revenue cycle value chain.”

Before joining AGS, Wolfe was CEO of Medicity and HDMS, and helped build out McKesson’s Enterprise Intelligence business.

“Patrice is an outstanding business leader with an excellent track record to successfully lead AGS Health and continue its legacy of success,” Saharia said in a statement.

She starts in the role Sept. 9.
