Ricoh USA Inc. has moved its West Caldwell location to Parsippany, part of the document services company’s recent shakeup of its facilities — which included moving its U.S. headquarters from Malvern, Pennsylvania, to nearby Exton.
The new location, at 2 Gatehall Drive, will include the latest collaboration and productivity solutions, including unified communications systems, intelligent multifunction printers, interactive flat panel displays and more.
The West Caldwell employees will relocate later this year, Donna Venable, executive vice president, human resources and deputy general manager, told ROI-NJ. There will be no job losses.
“The move is a culmination of a multiyear investment in empowering our digital workplaces across the U.S., and is part of a long-term strategy to update and modernize Ricoh offices across the U.S.,” Venable told ROI-NJ.
The new facility will also include informal meeting spaces and “huddle rooms” for spontaneous brainstorming, quick collaboration and more, Venable noted.
“Similar to how we’ve been helping our customers empower their digital workplaces to better serve their customers, the time is right to embrace change and further enhance employee collaboration within Ricoh’s own offices,” she said in an earlier statement.
Ricoh indicated it did not receive any tax incentives or similar benefits for either the New Jersey or Pennsylvania moves.
