Hammer Fiber Optics Holding Corp., a telecommunications company, announced Monday it has closed on the acquisition of American Network Inc., a New York-based CLEC.
Hammer said American Network has a number of interconnection agreements, wholesale agreements and assets that will help it grow in the Northeast.
“Continuing to expand the footprint of our platform will be key to our success in rolling out our Everything Wireless strategy in the United States,” Hammer CEO Erik Levitt said.
Piscataway-based Hammer said the deal is expected to close on Sept. 1.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
