NIA National Realty announced recently it has negotiated two separate retail leases in Paramus and Elmwood Park.
Gregory Panayoti, vice president at NIA, handled the 8,200 square feet worth of assignments.
At 556 Route 17 in Paramus, Panayoti leased 2,200 square feet to Australian-based fitness company F45 Training. The property, located within the Sprout Brook Center, has anchor tenants including The Vitamin Shoppe and Jenny Craig.
“This shopping center is a prime retail site in a densely populated area in Bergen County and is easily accessible which made this location desirable” Panayoti said. “556 presented F45 with the perfect solution for building membership and contributing to a thriving local business community.” With the signing of this lease the center is fully leased.
In Elmwood Park, Panayoti leased 6,000 square feet at 15 Wallace St. to Empire Fitness. The flex building, formerly Whitney Houston’s recording studio, has high ceilings, a refurbished interior and ample parking.
Empire Fitness, which is now open, offers fitness classes and various programs including Crossfit, Olympic lifting, yoga and personal training.
“This location is an area that offers the potential for a large customer base but has few national fitness brands” Panayoti said.
