Realogy Holdings Corp., a Madison-based residential real estate services company, announced Thursday organizational changes that aim to accelerate growth for all agent and franchisees affiliated with its seven brands.
Planned moves include:
- Integrating the Coldwell Banker affiliate network and company-owned brokerage;
- Forming a new Expansion Brands portfolio comprised of the Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate brand, the ERA brand and the Climb brokerage operations, led by Sherry Chris;
- Creating a new Product and Innovation Group, led by Simon Chen.
“At Realogy, all of our efforts are focused on growth, and we continue to transform ourselves to deliver new products, services and technology that further fuel our powerful brands and the businesses of affiliated agents and owners,” Ryan Schneider, CEO and president, Realogy, said. “These changes are designed to empower our teams to move faster and more nimbly take advantage of Realogy’s scale and resources to benefit agents and franchisees across all of our brands.”
Effective Jan. 1, 2020, Ryan Gorman will serve at the helm of Coldwell Banker’s leadership in addition to his current role as NRT CEO and president. Also, current Coldwell Banker CEO Charlie Young will resign and move into a senior advisor role to support the integration.
“Coldwell Banker is an iconic brand, and great brands are continuously seeking new ways to grow even stronger,” Gorman said. “In working closely with Charlie and his leaders to plan for the roll out of the recent rebrand, it became clear how powerful a unified Coldwell Banker brand team could be in serving our affiliated agents, franchisees and consumers.”
