Sharp Imaging and Information Co. of America, a division of Montvale-based Sharp Electronics Corp., announced Monday it has been awarded a group purchasing agreement with Premier Inc., a health care improvement company.
The agreement, effective Aug. 1, will allow Premier members to take advantage of pricing and terms pre-negotiated by Premier for printer equipment, software and services.
“This purchase agreement will allow hospitals and institutions utilizing the contract to reduce inefficiencies and expenses,” Mike Marusic, CEO and president, Sharp Imaging and Information Co. of America, said. “By simplifying access to our award-winning MFP technology, we hope to allow Premier members to gain more productivity in the workplace and ultimately help them focus on what is more important, providing outstanding health care in their communities.”
Sharp is a provider of advanced technology products for the use in hospitals.
