Campbell Soup Co. has completed the sale of its Danish snack unit, Kelsen Group, to an affiliate of Ferrero, it announced this week.
The $300 million price, subject to customary adjustments, will enable the Camden-based food company to reduce its debt, Campbell said in a news release.
The deal, first announced in July, is one of several recent changes in Campbell’s global lineup, including the $2.2 billion sale of an Australia-centered international business portfolio and the $80 million sale of a European chip business.
