Once again, the Statewide Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey will be hosting its Annual Convention & Business Expo, on Oct. 4 at The Brownstone in Paterson.

The longstanding event, which started in 1990, the year after the chamber was founded, attracts national and regional business leaders eager to share their expertise with local business owners, entrepreneurs and members of private and public organizations.

For over 30 years, the chamber has been committed to diversity and growth for all businesses. The Annual Convention is a showcase of all those who work tirelessly with the chamber to continue this mission. Over 100 exhibitors, government officials, corporate leaders and diplomats all come together as one familia.

Whether you’re looking to make new business contacts, explore new business opportunities or cultivate new relationships, the Annual Convention has become synonymous with excellence and commitment to the business community.

“The reward I get out of being a part of this chamber is the positive energy and enthusiasm that flows through the room on these events,” Luis De La Hoz, chairman of the chamber, said. “It makes all the hard work worthwhile to see the smiles and view all the business deals being executed in a positive and nurturing environment.”

The event will be recognizing the contributions of Univision NY for its support of not only the SHCCNJ, but the Hispanic community in general. Other leaders also will be recognized during the welcome ceremony.

The SHCCNJ is the voice of the more than 119,000 Latino businesses that contribute more than $20 billion to the New Jersey economy. The chamber’s mission remains to educate, train, advocate for its members in the political landscape and provide procurement opportunities for all its members.
