An environmental and geotechnical engineering and consulting firm has leased space at a Class A office building in Warren, according to JLL.
JLL said on Wednesday Whitestone Associates Inc. will take up 11,871 square feet at the 207,253-square-foot 30 Independence Blvd. Griffin Capital Essential Asset REIT II Inc. owns the property.
Scott Lesh, managing director; Scott Stange; senior vice president; and Daniel Loughlin, vice chairman; represented Whitestone in the deal. Timothy Greiner, executive managing director and head of agency leasing for JLL in New Jersey; Daniel Spero, managing director; and Dennis McConnell, executive vice president; represented Griffin Capital.
“Whitestone is creating a workplace environment that will help promote collaboration and employee engagement,” Lesh said. “The environmental and geotechnical engineering and consulting firm found 30 Independence Boulevard to be a great fit because it can accommodate all of Whitestone’s specialized staff and operations under one roof.”
Whitestone will occupy the second floor of the building. The firm, which should move into the five-story office building by March 2020, is relocating from 35 Technology Drive in Warren.

Finacial terms were not disclosed.
