Provident hires three VPs, promotes fourth

Jersey City-based Provident Bank has brought in Rudy Grasso, Daniel Johnson and James Fereno as its three newest executives.

Grasso will serve as the newly created vice president, retail property manager, responsible for facilities management and maintenance for all Provident properties.

Johnson will serve as vice president, relationship manager with the North Jersey Middle Market lending team at the bank. Based in Paramus, Johnson will be responsible for working with Middle Market companies to grow Provident’s commercial loan portfolio.

Fereno will serve as vice president, senior relationship manager with the Lehigh Valley Commercial lending team. Based in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Fereno’s work will be very similar to that of Johnson’s, but with local businesses.

Provident also promoted Joseph Rodriguez to the newly created position of vice president, residential lending sales manager, responsible for leading and coaching the bank’s inside and outside mortgage loan officers.
